Versatek VER170P ADSL2+ Modem/Router provides the advanced long Reach/Rate, crosstalk-free Technology with backward compatible ITU G.ADSL Plus, G.span, G.992.3, G.992.1 (G.DMT), ITU-TG.992.2 (G.lite), ANSI T1.413 issue 2standards and with multimode modulation auto configurable capabilities.
The Versa VER170P is the perfect solution for small office home office (SOHO) to connect multiple PCs to a highspeed Broadband Internet connection. It allows up to 253 users, the built-in NAT technology acts as a firewall protecting your internal network. Configurable as a DHCP server for your existing network, the Versa Xpress VER170P ADSL2+ Router acts as the only externally recognized Internet device on your local area network (LAN).
The router can also be configured to block internal users' access to the Internet. The bridge/router provides an RJ45 10/100 Ethernet Port with Auto Negotiation.
To install an ADSL2+/ADSL LAN or access the Internet, you just simply plug into the existing RJ-11 telephone jack. With minor configure and no additional wiring to install, your network is up and running in minutes.
There is no need for special splitters, terminators or filters. There is also no need to modify the existing wiring at all. A Ethernet port is provided for user to connect a host computer to configure or view the link status or miscellaneous configurations.
